I have built this website to inform everybody that might be considering liposuction.  I want
to share my story with everybody, so hopefully nobody will have to go through what I have
gone through.  One year ago I decided to undergo liposuction.  At that time I had been
working out and there were areas of unwanted fat that never went away.  At the time I was
wearing a size 8.  I found a local plastic surgeon, who was board certified.  The doctor was
very nice, had 3 offices and had been board certified for many years by the American Board
of Plastic Surgery.  I spent many hours researching botched liposuction and liposuction
complications.  I wanted to know what was the absolute worse that could happen to me.  I
never found one case or story with pictures of what happend to me.  If only I knew that you
could be left with several deformities, which I now have, I might have been a little bit more
careful with the surgeon I chose.  My life has been devastated since I decided to do this.  I
don't regret deciding to undergo liposuction, what I regret is not being careful enough
about the doctor I chose.  After my first liposuction surgery, which consisted of most areas
between the knees and breast.  I was left with a crease about 2 inches below my natural
crease, as you will see in the pictures with the turquoise panties.  I also had a large
indention in the outside of my thigh, many bumps in my abdomen and it was also uneven
and very uneven, unnatural looking thighs (after liposuction I was a size 6).  He continued
making me come back every 2 weeks and didn't really have much to say except that we
could do another surgery, which of course was not free and try to correct those areas.  So
on my birthday in February 2007, which was 6 months later I went in for a revision surgery
for all of the areas.  After the revision the abdomen was a little better, less bumpy but still
uneven, the indention in my thigh was not as obvious, but my inner thighs were much
worse and now appeared to be sagging and the area in the buttocks appeared very saggy,
which can only be explained by looking at the photos.  At my last appointment he said I
would likely need a butt lift and a thigh lift, which was even more devastating, both
procedures leave very large scars and I am only 25 years old and went from a size 8 to a 6.
At that point I decided I could not let him operate on me again, what if something went
wrong again.  I went to 2 of the top liposuction doctors in Houston.  The first one said he
could not help me, he just looked at my body and had nothing to say.  Then the next
surgeon he sent me to, who specialiezs more in liposuction revision surgery said that
there was nothing that could be done to help what had happend to my buttocks area.  He
said the only thing he could help with was the thigh lift, which would cost $8,000.  He spent
a lot of time looking at my body and said that the doctor had taken all of the fat out
underneath my buttocks, down to the muscle.  After this I was very upset, I though it was
going to be no big deal to fix the problem.  I spent months emailing doctors all over the
U.S., all of which said sometimes this is permanent and can be very difficult to try to repair.
Out of all of the doctors I communicated with, only one said he would attempt to make the
repair, which came with an extremely expensive price tag.  He also said that I would likely
need 2 additional surgeries after the first one.  At this point I have to continue living with
my deformed body until I have found the financial means to pay for the revision surgery.
